Calling all holiday-makers!

Nov 17, 2023

Kenton has pulled out all the stops to make this a safer holiday destination!

As a community, Kenton has pulled out all the stops to make this a safer holiday destination. In addition to lifeguards on our Blue Flag beaches, there is now also an NSRI presence at Middle Beach. Moreover, 89 residents have been trained in CPR and the use of the AED machines by that indefatigable Coastal Kindness team of Dave and Margie Morrell.

Now that the holiday season is here, we are calling on our holiday-makers to join us in making Kenton a safer place! Just 90 minutes of your time, and you will be in a position to help in an emergency: to render CPR until trained medical personnel arrive, and to use the automatic defibrillators should the need arise.

Coastal Kindness invites you to join our final training session of the year (at no cost, although donations are always welcome) and to swell the numbers of those who won’t be left feeling helpless in an emergency!

Date: Tuesday 19 December 2023
Time: Session 1: 14:00 – 15:30
Session 2: 16:00 – 17:30
Venue: Round Table Club House, Middle Beach, Kenton
Note: Limited places – booking is essential
Contact: WhatsApp 083 283 4701 or admin@coastalkindness.org.za
