Our First Responders had a very busy month of September

Our First Responders had a very busy month of September, attending incidents, morning, noon and night.

Kenton

  • Female – unresponsive – Gardmed transferred to PA – Deceased
  • Female – fallen, severe pain, difficulty breathing – Gardmed to PE
  • MVA – no major injuries
  • Female – DOA
  • Female – collapsed and unresponsive – attempted resuscitation – EMS declared deceased
  • Female – seizure – Gardmed to PA

Merry Hill

  • Female – chest pain – Gardmed attended
  • Male – signs of heart attack – Gardmed to PE
  • Female – DOA

Ekuphumleni

  • Male – respiratory problem – Metro EMS to PA

Bushmans River

  • Male – fallen – to GP

Riversbend

  • Male - fallen – suspected fractures – Gardmed PE
  • Male – fall, fluid on lungs – Gardmed to PA
  • Bushfire – no injuries – support to extinguish fire
  • MVA – pedestrian killed

Marselle

  • Female – active labour – Metro EMS to PA
  • Male – difficulty breathing, hyperglycemia – Metro EMS to PA Hospital

Klipfontein/Harmony Park

  • Female – waters broken – no ambulance - taken to PA Hospital – baby fine
  • Male – heart condition - stable – referred to clinic
  • Male – dislocated shoulder – referred to GP
  • Male – difficulty breathing, elevate pulse – Metro EMS to PA

Golden Mile

  • Female – active labour – Metro EMS to PA

FR were also present at the following events to assist with any injuries:

  • Do Good Feel Good Fun Run
  • World Coastal Clean Up Day
  • Taste of Kenton
  • Rhino Run
  • Two Klipfontein rugby matches – one broken finger
