Medical emergency

Ever thought what you would do in the event of an accident or medical emergency in your workplace or home?

Ever thought what you would do in the event of an accident or medical emergency in your workplace or home?

Other than panic?

It just makes sense that as a parent you – or your children’s caregivers – should know at least the very basics.

And if you, as a business owner, wish to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, 1993, you must have someone on site trained to at least a basic level of first aid.

Coastal Kindness has the solution! Once again, this year, we are organising a Level One First Aid course, run under the auspices of Gardmed, to ensure your workplace – and home – is a safer place to be!

The first course will be held on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 February and we can accommodate ten people at a cost of R600 each. There is an examination and, on successful completion, a certificate issued by the Department of Labour.

The medium of instruction is English; the manual is in English but Coastal Kindness has made available a glossary of difficult terminology in both isiXhosa and Afrikaans.

WhatsApp Patsy on 083 283 4701 to book a place for you or an employee – or even to sponsor someone! And if you can’t make this course, we have a waiting list for later courses.

Coastal Kindness – making our community safer.
