Marselle Clinic Update

Oct 23, 2025

You are nearly at the end of the road, but need that one final push to get you over the last hill  … That’s where we are at the moment.

We have just that one final push. And we need R300 000 to get us to the end of this road.

We started renovations at Kenton and Marcelle Clinics in September 2023, when we broke ground at Kenton Clinic to build a new office and consulting room for the Nursing Sister.

The official hand-over to the clinic was on 13 February 2024.

Since then, we have undertaken a myriad of work at the Marselle Clinic. We have erected a secure fence around the perimeter; we have mended a very leaky roof and fixed the ceiling; and we have made new seating for the patients.

All this work for both clinics was made possible by community donations to Coastal Kindness.

Still needed at Marselle Clinic are new flooring, more ceiling work, internal painting, some tiling, further roof repairs, sanitary fittings and mending of cupboards.

And then, as they say in the classics, our commitment to the clinic renovations will be “done and dusted!”

That doesn’t mean we won’t help on a monthly basis for ad hoc emergency repairs – as our mission statement declares, we

endeavour to identify and fill the gaps between state and private health and wellness services by providing practical advice and support, both physical and emotional, to community members and healthcare workers.

If you can make a donation, whether large or small, please pop it into the Coastal Kindness account for the FINAL PUSH Standard Bank 10185906425
